Doesn't actually look that bad considering. There's only a slight bit of rust, a good clean with some Muc Off would probably makes a world of difference.

Looks like it's in good nick.

no wonder i couldnt find any in duty free...

bike looks alright just needs a scrub, i quite like the red/white/gold scheme typical italian look. wouldnt change it. spend the 150 on petrol instead Wink

hi sorry its been a while since i last posted to be honest i forgot i had started a thread on my mito. anyway the bike is ready to be motd bye next wednesday at the latest.as the mot staition i use are busy. im just waiting for the graphics to arrive and thats it finnished when i started the project i thought a good clean up and a few bits and bobs and it will be sorted.how wrong was i.the bike needed a full respray including the wheels. then the front forks needed new seals reoiling and new bushes. then it was new wheel bearings f/r brake pads f/r new chain adjusters new chain new front sprocket new cush drive in rear hub new bulbs new fuses all new fluids new battery full new throttle assembly new brake light switches . so ive had a lot to do but found myself waiting for parts to arrive and then being sent the wrong items it took ages to get everything i needed i also encountered a few seized bolts witch slowed me down but its back together now. rite i wanted to keep the bike in the same colours with the same graphics but i couldnt get the panels touched up to look good so decided on full respray heres a few pics

I'm expecting another cleaning guide to be posted. Haha.

Looking awesome though. If you don't mind me asking - how much did you buy it for and how much have you spent on it.

I've been looking for a bike to do up but wouldn't really wanna buy it for more than about £200, any ideas?

hi thanks for the nice comments about the bike i learnt alot about motorbikes since ive had the mito ive enjoyed getting dirty and frustrated with the bike. but it was definatley worth it.as for money spent i was initially on a budget of £600.00 i paid £300.00 for the bike the front forks rear tyre and spray job took the rest of the project money. then all the other bits and pieces with the decals tank pad and mot it owes me £800.00. when i bought the bike i was doing it up to sell on as ive got a nsr125.but im now thinking about selling the nsr because after i had a 10 mile faultless test ride.i loved it the bike suprised me a bit with its power as ive only rode a 96 plate dt125 and the nsr when the powerband come in at around 6500 to 7000 revs it was flying.well thats it for now.im now going to be a bit braver and get a 400cc/600cc sports bike for the next project

Massive respect (and jealousy) for that mate, it looks fantastic. Every projevt I've ever done (car or bike) turn out like a piece of shit. I dream of being able to do what you have done there.

Excellent work. Thumbs Up Karma

Hey, i joined a few days ago and im a huge fan of 125cc bikes.
Ive got only 1 thing to say to you. DONT SELL THAT MITO! Lucky Explorer is the fastest/most reliable Cagiva Mito as it has the best engine of all Mitos. Trust me mate, that Mito > Honda NSR. Uber bike you got there, sell your NSR and spend it on petrol & oil! Very Happy

Respect
