Can anybody recommend any decent proper headphones.
At the moment, I've got one of those one-ear-and-mike things, which I have now realised is simply not adequate for doing these audio editing calls I have started getting.
I really need a set of those, like, big padded things - to block out the noise of the ongoing household noise (which is usually quite considerable - life with Andy is a decibel-intense arrangement) so that I can concentrate on what's being said on the audio.
Bit of a dumb thing to do, pick up a job that requires intense listening skills, when you live in a household like this, but this is where my computer is, and this is where I have to do the work right now
I've looked in the Argos catalogue, and they range from about a tenner up to nearly a hundred quid. They don't really need to be cordless, as when I need to listen really carefully I am attached to the computer anyway, although I rather like the look of these.

... and I don't mind what price they are, as its claimable back from the tax man, but I just wondered if anybody had any particular recommendations for ones which block out most background noise. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |
