When you move the bars on the 'headstock' (which is just a pivot), it transfers the movement through the red bars you see on the RHS, which then moves the wheel hub.

The bars are cleverly hinged to avoid bump steer etc.

Quite neat really!

I think that if you rode one of those through the streets you'd get some funny looks. I wouldnt mind riding one but owning one's probably a no.
