Can anyone tell me why the headlights on my NSR are so dim? Ive charged the battery up lots, and still the lights are very dim (on all settings) even when fully revd.
Any help would be greatly apreciated

Does anyone else have this problem?

What year NSR do you have? Are any of the bulbs blown? Have you checked for loose wires? Do they get brighter on full beam and change brightness on different settings?

There should be one tiny bulb (i think) and one main bigger one, in each section of your headlights.

I just replaced my main 25w bulbs on my NSR today as a matter of fact, what a farcing fiddle. Mad

I just changed my bulbs from 25w to 45w on my NSR. Just go into your local bike shop and take in the bulb and they'll give you the ones you need. Just say you need 45watt. Or unless someone knows the proper name of the bulb type...... The bulbs are real easy to get out. You can get them out by turning the handlebars out the way for each light and remove the rubber sock thing that covers it and then twist it out. It's real easy, just look and you'll see. Didn't make it significantly better but it's still an improvement.

Much brighter with the xeon bulb thingys Very Happy

all two of them on normal beam, then high beam switches to one bulb and goes super bright,
(and no its not my dodgy wiring for once)
