Just wondering if anyone has had a 'friend' thats screwed them over?

I certainly have, recently someone sold me something that was totally shafted and fucked to buggery. I would have expected more of them to sell me it, when they knew exactly what was up with it. But they shall remain nameless for now.

So does anyone have some stories to tell? I just think It'd make interesting really!

I had a mate who stole all my tools and a 5 grand job off me when I had my own business.

I forgave him for that.

Then one night he was staying at mine and got rather drunk and shat himself, leaving shite on my front room carpet.

I made him clean it up and forgave him for that.

He then stole 40 quid from my wallet.

I got it back and forgave him for that.

He then stole 30 quid from my missus, handbag.

One busted nose later, and I don't see him anymore.

Damn it why didnt I think of that?

I let me mates get away with a lot, and because of that none take the piss really.

Its when people take the piss with my missus that I get fucked off.

She has had a very good upbringing (and quite a wealthy one) and is such a nice person that when people take the piss, I hate it.

Did you buy another shit car then Craig? , Very Happy far too boring a post:

I've had tons of the usual users, I've taught at least 10 people to drive and never heard from them after they passed their tests, probably why the standard of driving in Manchester is so poor really.

Plenty of people that invite you over for dinner parties that don't exist purely to get you to fix/setup their computers.

I hope so. I has a so-called "friend" that decided to spread some rather nasty lies about me, making out that I'd broken into her flat and snooped round her stuff (just one of the many nasty lies she told), etc, etc. Fortunately she's been found out by a number of people, but I'm still waiting for the above to come into effect. I keep my fingers crossed on a daily basis....

Heh.
Don't worry, my dear.

Bad blood will often end up poisoning itself more fatally than anything we could do in retaliation.

Although I also subscribe to the "revenge is a dish best served cold" theory as well.

So if anyone screws me over, and thinks they have got away with it, they really ought to think again. I may have SEEMED to have been a walkover. But its invariably festering away, and eventually I will come up with a solution. Long after they have forgotten that they dissed me, I'll bounce back and take them by surprise.

Fortunately, sometimes the solution comes up by itself.
And its often provided to you on a plate by the person you want to take revenge on.
They can't help themselves.

I had a very nice female friend once who nicked my vcr/cd's/phone.

We tricked her round to another mates flat under false pretences. Got most of the shit back after marching her on foot at 4am to her house about 14 mile round trip.

Finally got back to my flat at about 7am and crashed out in bed as i was completely fucking knackered/angered.

Was awoken at midday exactly with the police banging on my front door. There was an armed response vehicle outside also.

Fucking bitch had told them i'd threatened her with an airgun (which at the time i had a nice collection).

Went to the station had a little chat with some stuck up copper telling me that "you could of been shot today, you shouldnt take the law into your own hands blardy bla bla"

Yet i asked him what would of been the odds of yourselves finding my stolen items?

He replied well we probably wouldnt have Rolling Eyes

Yet another reason to hate the filth

*edit*

after all that she got away with it, police didnt do a fucking thing.

hopefully she'll catch aids and die slowly and painfully or fall into a pit of rabid chihuahua's Thumbs Up

Plenty of male friends have treated me like crap.
Most memorable was a really good male friend called chris, chubby guy and bit weird but we got on great.
He fancied me but that wasn't a problem I trusted him not to try anything.
One day he asked me to kip over his house but I was with a guy I was seeing so I said no.
Pissed off and upset he told everyone he'd done me Rolling Eyes .
My dad found out and reduced the guy to tears, he deserved it.
Plenty of male friends who I have trusted have changed their mind along the line and want more, it's bit sad really.
Many of them I had real fun with and liked the flirt without any follow up.

You should stop using the LJBF line , many folks misunderstand this and think you may change your mind later, LJBF = hope

you have to be brutal to be kind , ie sorry I don't like you I can never see anything happening between us so lets just walk away now.

I got LJBF yesterday, I politely declined it,

there was this translation:

lets just be friends: I want to tell you in painfully graphic detail about the person I'm shagging at the moment (its a male POV thing).

Can't agree more , the person who did something v bad to me who I was considering revenge against, did something similar had something blow up in his face(insurance fraud) , apparently he is now completely bankrupt and probably will lose his house/car since he never went ltd company status, he also upset some gangsters badly,

I sometimes mull if I should put me boot in while he is down, but think meh, life is too short to be bitter.

Its not your friend Craig- its that every mechanical thing you buy dissolves before your eyes. I've even written a paper on the subject. Its called "The Craig and his GS500E/CraigZZR/Craig- effect and the sudden degradation of mechanical reliability of automotive vehicles"

I've been shat on, but not by friends. I don't have very many of them. Loads of aquantances though, but they're not really in a position to do any shitting (on me anyway) because I tend not to get into situations were they could.

I think if you pick your pals carefully and don't allow anything to develop, you'll probably avoid being a toilet for them. Who was it that said; never sell a second hand car to a friend? (I'd second that! Haw haw, ummm... Rolling Eyes )

I'm never interested in vengeance, only in reinstating the balance. If someone does wrong me, then I look to fix it and make sure it doesn't happen again. Not particularly interested in making them pay, the shit things you do in life have a habit of coming round and kicking you up the arse anyway. Karma

Those ranked as friends who stitch you up should quickly be demoted to the rating of associate.
If they stitch you up again, all trust will be lost and the associate becomes an enemy.

Thing is Mark, the problems that it had would have been very evident to the previous owner, and I didn't notice them as on the test drive I couldn't hear any of them, it was only when I got it I noticed the problems, plus I trusted them with them being friends. And the person that sold me the car should have known better.

Oh and Luxy its not the Skoda thats the problem, it was the car before it. The Skoda is a fantastic car, and people who still take the mickey out of them have been stuck in a hole for the last 10 years. Razz

I don't have people in my life that f*ck me over. If i catch a glimpse of a nasty person and see what they do on others I wont have them around me. Been stabbed in the back plenty of times when I was at school, so called mates stealing jewelery, money and other things of me, don't even speak to them still this day and they try. I am careful who I trust and associate with. No scum bags rule. Even if my mate was mates with someone who was an arch enemy I would be suspicious. Had a so called mate year ago there who wouldn't go away no matter how much I ignored her, she would bitch behind my back and people would come and say it to me and then she would bitch about other people and plot to do stuff to them in front of me. She was the type of girl who would break up a couple and make a girl feel like crap by flirting with other peoples partners. Bit of a home wrecker. Take nothing to do with her anymore, thank god. Dont need it. A good friend is loyal to you and cares about you. I got my mates back as long as they have mine.

There is a difference between sexual flirting and banter.
The way I flirt with guys I consider nothing more than a friend is how I'd flirt with a gay guy.
I think it depends on whether a guy is thinking with his cock or his brain upstairs.
I have a male friend now who you could say I flirt with but he doesn't see it as a come on because it's just a laugh.
Everyone flirts, it's a natural thing.
Girls mates link arms and hug, why should it have to be any different with a male friend?
I treat everyone the same no matter gender, orientation etc.
Though what I consider flirting could be completely different to what you do.
