Drunk had motorcyclist in car

A drink-driver drove home with a dead motorcyclist lodged in the rear window of his car after a high speed crash.

Tony Martinez, 54, pulled out of a car park after a night boozing in a bar and the biker went into his boot at 80mph.

He then sped off without realising the 20-year-old had been hurled through his window.

It was not until he got home that he finally noticed the body of Nicholas Campbell.

California police say he then drove to another spot and tried pulling the body out of his vehicle.

A friend of the victim said three pals riding with him called to say: "Nick crashed and we can't find his body anywhere."

Martinez was later arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run and drink-driving.
