Shagged spindle thread

Right how do i go about getting the fucker off?

And why is it when i come to adjust my chain, my axel bolts are forever seized on, hence, me last time shagging the Bolts thread and now completely shagging the spindle thread.

You should be putting grease on the entire spindle and thread when you put it back together. You may have threaded the nut on to the spindle at an angle, causing it to strip the thread.

I never grease the threads as it makes it too easy to over tighten. They shouldn't have time to seize between chain adjustments anyway. You should be torquing it up to the correct torque to avoid problems.

I would order a new nut and spindle and replace it when you get it as you never know when it will come undone if the thread is stripped.

Well i got a new spindle ( well used) but looks in better condition than mine. Gonna ride it slowly to the mechanic tommorow, so he can get the old spindle off and replace it with this new one.
