As some of you may know i had my last bike stolen.I was using just a chain alone which was chopped through quite easily.I now have my new bike and have probs gone abit over the top with security but i guess you can never have enough

I now use 2 disk locks on the front, one of them is alarmed. On the back i use a crop resistant chain and a heavy duty D lock and to top it all off i have a 125db alarm wired to the bike that isnt pleasant on the ears

Have you had your bike stolen in the past and if yes what security did you use? and has it made u spend out more on security the second time?

my bike was actually stolen from my hall ??? I thought that was secure as anywhere, now I just use a chain supplied by Carole Nash and I never have any part of it in contact with the floor.

If they really want your bike they will get it somehow

it wasn't actually that bad, police found my bike, unhurt not too far from home, they were very quick - for a change in responding to my call Very Happy

Hope you never get another bike stolen, it is horrible to realise that your beloved bike is not where you left it, your security sounds pretty good though
