No.

Its their Marketing departments and web designers that take things too seriously.

My previous company 'aquired' a marketing department just before I quit.

You should have seen the buzzword filled pap that it shoved out to our customers. It didn't make any technical or useful sense at all, and was literally all of this years buzzwords strung together in a haphazard melange of primary colours.

That said, it still isn't as bad as that 'need 6' rubbish. Honda have "The power of dreams" and Yamaha have "need 6"

Thank god for Kawasaki and Suzuki! Laughing

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

5 mins on the website, as a new(ish) biker other than Yamaha i have no idea if it is advertising a specific bike or just yamaha in general.. Confused

Or maybe it is advertising pushbikes, or rollercoasters...

I think to many companies are to far up their own bottoms when it comes to web design.

The most popular parts site for bikes in the UK is Wemoto, I think because it is simple and straightforward with no flash rubbish. Pity it's so yellow really.

It just seemed to load a blank, black screen for me; both in Firefox and Internet Explorer. So that's a failed attempt at marketing on me, then.

I couldn't be arsed waiting for the page to load (at a ridiculous screen res too). It's a shame that they're now focusing campaigns on lifestyle and branding rather than machine and quality.

Yup, agreed anything that takes that long to load can't be worth it, as Homer said to Moe "aw I wan' it now!" Thumbs Down

I found the word motorcycle in it somewhere!

and

The ultimate orgasm that keeps on accelerating.

Then I noticed it mentioned all the information was fictional. That's useful.
