Does anyone own one? i am thinking of buying one just for zelda since i have just got an N64 again for zelda since i like it so much.

Does anyone own zelda for Wii? and is it any good?

Do you know if they will be brining out some of the good games like the N64 had (Mario kart, super mario, banjo etc) Since i did get a gamecube but that was such a flop.

Ive not got a wii, but I was at a mates house playing on one with Steph (a friend of mine Wink

We did the Wii Sports, Fitness test.

after both having a Go it guessed Stephs "fitness age" at 63. and my "fitness age" at 80! Roflcopter.

Bearing in mind alcohol was on the go. Thumbs Up

Its a fun console though, I couldn't see myself sat in at 10pm by myself swinging a wii`mote around in my room. But it would make an amazing party console. I was getting into the Tennis. Cool

Unless you can get a slightly more complexed control pad, i cant really see the Wii being any good for platform style games. with like 3 buttons. lol

I'm only a few hours into it but its looking good, will have to do a bit more before i can compare it to the legendary O'O'T.

You shoulda bought a gamecube with the zelda back catalouge, wouldnt have been much difference in cost of the 64.

If you like the look i'd say go for it, couple of very good games soon to be released, Mario galaxy, Super smash bros.
Metroid is out now and guitar hero 3 is just around the corner.

(There are more than 3 buttons, A,b,z,c,+,-, up, down, left right, analogue, 1,2,and motion controll, obviously Wink

Mario Kart is coming soon. Banjo games will be on XBox 360 from now on since Microsoft bought Rare.

It's a pretty cool console and there are good games for it, but it does have the risk of going down the Gamecube/N64 route of a few excellent games with big droughts between them. Thing is, that's not so bad on a console with a few hundred downloadable games from old consoles. A lot of the best N64 and SNES games are available, as well as NES, Sega Mega Drive and Turbo GFX.

I have had a wii for almost a year now, zelda was lots of fun. I havn't played any other zelda game so i can't say how it shapes up to the other versions.

Mario Galaxy is pretty good, i guess if your a fan of that type of game you will love it.

My wifes step dad hase one and he is got one for us for christmas and it's good fun if your doing the physical stuff.

As a console for playing typical console type games I cant see the point. If you want to play console type games surely a PS2, 3 or an Xbox would be better.

Saying that though Fifa 08 on the wii is magical. It actually feels like you are controlling the players.
