Neighbours - what would you do ?

Ok, Ill give you a small graph of what the block of flats I live in is like.I have lived here for around 2.5 years so far - Not had one single problem with any one of them.
6 flats, of course devided in to 6 living people.
Jan 06 had someone new living above us. I met, this person a few times comming across the staire well. Nice person, small halfacast child.
Im one of those persons that live where I do and have basically nothing to do with my neighbours.

Ive never met anyone so fucking rude in my life tonight.
I sat in the 'Block of flats that I live' & have some 'Black' person tell me 'Oh, You cant smoke in here its the law.
Now, this got meraging as fuck I am annoyed(I am seeing red as we speak - They have been Banging since 12PM Yesterday, banging I aint got a fucking clue (I delevered AVON To her address last week) and its a proper shit tip.(with a child)
Come 12pm!(24 hours since I reported) This guy plus others (May I just add, that they are all big black men)in the past 1 hour!! Yes 60 minutes they have come in and OUT of this block 8 times - To the point I have to hide,(I feel 100% uncomfy with these guys just apearing out of know-where,out of harms way just to enjoy a fag.
Instead of going on the balcony I go into the flat side for a quite smoke.
Quite frankly I am fooked to death with them walking up and down 'x' 8 within an hour period.
x8 within an hour is alot - + these people (weather they be good or bad) Are waking up my son Each and everytime because im below them.[/u]

I will just add, that the above person - her buzzer directly sends vibrations down into my bedroom (The last one was 3am this morning) - Which my sons sleeps in also.
I dont mine a buzz around 8pm'ish, But come 10pm its constant BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ fucking BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ
Im just at the end of my teather and me being me wont be long untill I deck one of them. (I could try, but they are F'ing Huge people)

I was lil drunk when I wrote that

Most nights there are 3 cars parked outside, All 3 06/07 regs, music blaring and after late night I am starting to wonder if stuff (drugs) is going on.
8 times in one hour x2 in a row.
People can do what they want to, but when it affects me and my son its a different story.

The solution is simple , get a mate with a decent camera, invite an MP round for dinner , have photos of the MP going in,

Call the cops of it being a knocking shop, gets into the papers MP will pull every string his corrupt hands can pull to keep this out the press.

No one really speaks to no one in this place If its going to affect anyone it will be the person on my floor, + the one above next to these people.
Its just strange, she moved in and everything was fine - Never saw the father (which im assuming is him) Now 4 months down the line there here late at night, but disappear early morning.
TBH, Am wondering if it is a weekend thing now - IIRC dont remember seeing them there during the week - will keep a look out.

Council, Housing Ass or Private flats ?

Council or Housing ass have a word with them. They do not take unsocial behaviour lightly now.
If private have a word with the landlord, he might be even less amused.....

You really need to talk to the others in the flats and see if they are unhappy as well. If they are all complaining together will give you a much stronger case.

Sounds like where I used to live and it was private rent. First we had the biggest drug dealer in town as a neighbor, he got kicked out, then the biggest wife beater ever, the screams where horrible and the poor girl was thrown about. Then they where out and then the most alcoholics in the town which my door was pissed on and flooded my living room with seeping piss coming from under the door and poeple puking. I once convinced an alcoholic when he hit my buzzer one night by accident I was god, he repented all his sins, hey he may be still sober now lol
Then we had the nut case man at the end who had a gun and shot things in his flat and then tried doing himself in so his gf was in hysterics at my door pleading with me to find looney bf with the gun parties going to wrong flat ,mine,poeple at doors all night and this poor woman who had a stroke was stuck in the middle flat petrified.

I moved. Enough was enough!


If its council or private get on to them if they are disturbing you and your kids sleep. Its a nightmare I know.

It is council. Even folks have had enough now - I didnt think it bothered them tbh.
They turned up again around 5pm, then shot off at 5:30. Can only guess they will be back.
I feel a bit like a stalker watching them come in and out

Environmental health for a start, especially if you can hear her door buzzer in your bedroom. They can order hardwood flooring to be properly insulated as well, and get the door/stair creaking sorted
