windows xp log off problem

I have 2 users accounts set up on my xp pc, if I leave the pc untouched for a while it logs me off and drops back to the login screen with the 2 users again. how can I disable this? its a pain in the arse. The 2nd account is only a back up pc for my girlfriend.

right click on desktop and goto properties
then click on screensaver tab
then where it says on resume, password protect, untick that box then click apply and all sorted
