Check out the systems on here they are all slip-ons,
I'm fairly sure the J1 standard exhaust is bolt on (It is the same fittment as my bike) so therefore the can that fits the standard downpipes wouldn't fit the system. ____________________ Well, you know what they say. If you want to save the world, you have to push a few old ladies down the stairs.

WANTED:- Fujinon (Fuji) M42 (Screw on) lenses, let me know if you have anything. |

If it was a slip on can it'd be a little easier but as it's a bolt on it makes things nigh on impossible to get the downpipes to get on. If it was a slip on you'd be able to find out which product line the pipe's from and buy the appropiate downpipes for it.
Power gain wise, once the carb's are set up and jetted i'd say you're looking at around from 15-20 bhp tops. It'll definitley make a noticeable amount of difference and sound awesome if that's what you mean. And it's Akrapovic ____________________ wizzzard wrote: Imagine God just stopping by, tidying your front room up and then quietly letting himself out again. just to confirm, F,G,J etc model ZX6R's have 3 bolt fits and WOULD not work with the after market downpipes since all are slip one. Got this problem now. I got a slip on swona system but cant put on my bolt on standard on. I'd be VERY surprised if you get 15bhp - maybe 10 at the rear wheel. Dynotyme is going to be bloody expensive and i'm not looking forward to getting my bike rejetted! ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

The sound was fantastic, but mine had no midrange, you had to be all on or nothing. ____________________ 04 zx10r with mods - 187.4bhp at the wheel! :o |

As for sounds they do sound good with a nice deep note, but if I may be so bold, my Yoshi slip on for the ZXR sounded better but was beaten hands down by the Leo Vince can on the FZR. That sounded like a F1 car. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |
