Well nipped the local asda today, parked up in the bike shelter in between the bars as to take up as little space as possible, go inside with the GF then got what we wanted and left and saw this bloke walkin in with his lid, thought to myself "awww yes! bet theres a good old bike out side" to find one of them old GS radiators blocking my bike in!!! the fucking twat parked diagonally across my bike, so i backed it out and twated his mirror and indicator, i tried my best not to but hey i wasnt waiting for that dick head to come back out. If your on here you prick, i want to know why you thought, fuck it, i'll park across this bike here. Middle Finger dick heads.

People park inappropriately all the time, thats life.

You managed to get out? Then he didn't block you in then and yet you felt the urge to damage his bike?

That's probably one circumstance I would consider moving someone elses bike (and wouldn't mind having mine moved to somewhere sensible if I was blocking someone in). If their alarm went off, they should have parked it with more consideration.

Anyway. Middle aged bloke + kid on BMW GS = midlife crisis. It was either the bike or a caravan. Seriously, this was the finding of a big lifestyle survey recently. They have a choice of how to spend their £15k of spare cash. It's tossup between a BMW GS, a Harley or a caravan.

How is he a prat? simple fact is , if he parked correctly in between the bars, the BMW guy shouldnt of parked behind his bike making it hard for him to get out. he could of simply parked somewhere else on pavement somewere at least.he deserved his bike getting knocked about abit.

and for moving someone elses bike is wrong because there are some people out there who would go nuts at someone moving there bike and cause trouble.

so good one mate getting out of the horrible situation Smile Thumbs Up

Also, moving someone elses bike? are you serious? What if i dropped it? The bike was taller than me, only take a bit to topple past its dead weight and its over. It was raining and the GF wasnt feeling well and was getting drenched so if thats ok with you i wanted to get her home into a pair of dry pants and out of the cold before her already ill state got worse.
Get to know me like a few BCF'ers before passing judgement.
Thanks.

People park like ass's.
There's no excuse for it as i'm sure there was room.
Wheres the damn diagram lonewolf?

Fair play to moving his mirror and indicator, as long as it wasn't damaged i'm sure he'd take a hint.

P.S i wouldn't touch a GS either, i'd be scared of the guy coming out 20 minutes later with me still laying under it. Mr. Green

good move, some people are twats and block you in, but never touch their bikes. If you drop it your in a world of shit, and if i came outside to see somebody moveing my bike with alarm going off i would be less than happy... besides i doubt you can move it anywhere with a disk lock on

Never had a biker park in a shit fashion blocking me in but I do find that BMW riders are some of the least likely people to return a nod when you are passing em.

What? You wouldn't dream of moving someone elses bike, but your perfectly happy to "twat his mirror and indicator". You sound like just as much of an idiot as the guy who allegedly boxed you in, though he can't have done that gooder job as you were able to get out.

And whys that? should i have waited like a prick and let my GF who already has a cold suffer in the rain? Fuck off mate, and i didnt twat his mirror on purpose as i stated in my reply to WTD. Its not my place to touch someone elses bike, and the bike could of easily pulled me over as it was quite tall and heavier than am used to. Fact of the matter is the prick parked too close and i struggled to get my bike out in order to get my girlfriend out of the cold, would you not have done the same? Thumbs Up

And Walloper, where have you been long time no see, hope your well and having a merry christmas! And i lol'd at your comment Thumbs Up Laughing R6 or a gix 6 or 750 next year. Thumbs Up

You reckon he'd have parked differently if he'd been riding a different kind of bike then?

just wondering the relevance of the thread title..

just BMW riders seem a bit arrogant, and the title is a problem? i thought it appropriate at the time, should i change it to, "why are BMW riders such wankers? Merry Christmas"? Laughing
loosen up a lil feef, not everything needs to be taken seriously, this is more of a venting thread. Did you read the posts before posting yourself? Merry Christmas, hope you have a good un feef!

How about "some pratt on a bike who boxed me in"? Or have you had lots of other bad experiences with BMW riders?

BTW, I don't ride a BMW. Mr. Green

you should have either has a piss or a wank onto his seat, see how he likes being messed with! Shocked you should have turned his bike round so he would come out and go "ohh my minds playing tricks on me, must be the old age!"

Not really had a good experience with a BMW rider, except for my riding instructor, but he is a genuinly nice guy, and wouldnt of boxed me in at a shop, Maybe he didnt mean to do it i dont know, but if i pulled up at a supermarket and saw a bike inbetween bars parked up i'd think "best leave some space" and made sure there was. Like i said this thread was a venting thread more than anything.

What the hell did you twat his mirror with? your head!

The mirrors on a Bmw GS are about 6ft in the air the ones on an FZR4 if there anything like mine are about 3ft Smile

I had to lean my fzr right over to get out from the bars and avoid running the back of my bike into the front of his. My mirror caught his mirror and indicator due. Not on purpose! And i didnt ram my FZR out either, i backed it slowly.

i would of moved his bike, simple as, or at least turned his bars, pivetted it on the center-stand,

It happend to me a few years ago, i parked between two cars, and some guy couldnt get out, i looked out of the window and saw 2 guys moving it back, i just said sorry, asked if they needed a hand and that was it.

the legal thing to do would be to wait for him to come out, but that could of been ages, and turned into a brawl, as no doubt he would of been an arrogant little nobber.

should of flicked his kill switch too. Thumbs Up
