Not sure if this should be posted elesewhere but what the hell.
Not having used my dt 125 for about 2 weeks now i checked it over today and to my horror the rear disc has started to rust. What would you recommend to get rid of and help to prevent rusting ?
cheers

Its probably just the standard surface rust that all bikes get on the discs - my R6 gets it within a week of non use.
Unless it actually looks like it is affecting the structural integrity of the disc (look for crack marks or deep pitting) I would not worry about it.

Use the bike more Smile

note: I will refrain from making the usual 'joke' about spraying it with WD40 (insert lubricant name here) as it has been done on every thread about brakes and wasnt even faintly amusing in 1972 when I first heard it)
