Just seen this on eBay, automatic clutch conversation l,m guessing? bit unusual for a big offroad bike Confused

Rekluse clutches - a lot of the guys on VD and KTM Forum have them and swear by them.

You still keep gears but with a centrifugal clutch; think C90.

One of the big things for competition is it means you don't stall, so you jump off you can jump straight back on again without restarting.
Also apparently can make it easier going up steep slippy stuff, but a possible problem coming down. Be interesting to try, but reckon I'd prefer the one that has the option of still having a clutch lever, which some do offer.

Same here, would,nt like to lose control of the bike and not have the ability to disengage the clutch.

I was more thinking to flick the front wheel up in higher gears Smile.
The clutch should disengage as the revs fall if you close the throttle.

Like a decent minimoto, you can set up the amount of slip to give you optimum acceleration everytime without using the clutch.

My bosses 525 has a rekluse clutch fitted. He performed an 80 mph 6th-5th knock down wheely on it, so i'd say you can still wheely with them in the higher gears. Smile
