...pretty please....

I'm looking for a 17" rear wheel for my race bike, and options are thin on the ground.

If your wheel is 175mm from inside side of disk to inside side of sprocket, then it might be a candidate.

Sooo... if any of you can be arsed to do a bit of measuring for me, then I'd very much apreciate it.

tia

Have you measured SV650 ones?

I presume you don't want 180 width tyre?

Reckon my SM wheels might be quite skinny, that'd be 'different' definitely Smile.

I haven't measured an SV650 one, since I don't know anyone with an SV650 Razz a 180 tyre would be bad.. the stock one is a 140 I think... so something around that size.

Who mentioned the front? and what sort of Front do you know that has a sprocket on it? Razz

That guide didn't 'specify' that it was for the 3EN2 model, so I can't rely on it. Also, the wheels mentioned i'm finding hard to locate, so am looking to see what other options there are.

But you do know someone that has several sets of SV wheels Wink.

Suspect it will be too wide though.
Will try and attach a ruler to one when I get a min, bit busy at the mo.

Does the 3EN2 have an 18 inch rear wheel? Then i would presume the rules apply, why not just make it easier for yourself and fit a 3TJ rear swinger setup? Or measure the distance between the legs of the swing arm so you know if a wider rim will fit or not?
I misread your OP sorry for the mistake, and the rim size of a 3EN model is 4 x 18(inch) and on the 3tj's its 4.50 x 17(inch) by manuals.
The 3TJ rim uses a 160 width tyre, so measure the distance of your swingarm legs, but on my model (3EN1) it would rub on the swing arm.

the 3EN2 has an 18 rear. The rules allow for the wheel change, as it's Still an FZR400 standard size.
I'm also fitting 3TJ bodywork simply because 3EN2 bodywork isn't around.

on the 3EN2 you CAN fit a 4.5

There's enough difference and variety between all the models that you can get away with it.

If your EN2 swinger can take the 3TJ rim then bang it on, you sure it can? is there 170mm width between each swing arm leg? if so just get a 3TJ rim or FZR600 17 inch rim, i think alot of them came in 4.50 aswell.

Try a TZR250 wheel. Or even a TZR125, or an SZR660 (same wheel). The latter two get snapped up by MZ racers before you'll probably get a look in.

TZR250 takes a 140section standard I think. Mine had a 150 shoehorned in.

Consider an RS125 rear aswell, although they're probably too wide.

Still think that you should find a 3TJ rim from a breakers or a bike being broken.
EDIT:Fox eye rim is 5"

Thanks Very Happy and your so close too! SCORE! why not get the front rim as a spare while your there? You never know.
How come you didnt do the R6 race fairing like madsi did over in OZ? Alot of track based FZR's get this done to them, just a thought but if you already have 3TJ track fairing am sure they will fit with a bit of modification just fine.
