Mileage shouldn't be a worry on the honda 400 engines, they use gear driven cams so should all last past 100k with no trouble at all.

If it does have 35k plus, ask to see some service history or evidence of service parts though - the front spark plugs can be neglected in those engines becuase they are such a cunt to get to.
