I found this bike on bikepics.com. I wonder if it's a genuine R1 fairing or whether it's designed for the Hornet...

Could be a genuine headlight fairing but either way it looks fugly.

I disagree, i think it looks alright...... I. E seen worse.

Not sure if they are genuine, perhaps they are modified race fairings? Confused

looks like some aftermarket bottom fairing mated to an R1 top fairing. The exhaust looks like its in a funny place too...

Looks like a genuine part as both are identical, looks like a model option akin to the Gs500e/Gs500f.

That´s right. It´s a aftermarket factory called MMotos. They maked for another models, like GS500, CB500, etc.

my mistake, they are the same. I knew the top bike had been photoshopped, but i couldn;t find the matching pic of the red bike. Have found it now though!

It's the same bike and the photo's where taken at the same time as the bikes position is exactly the same.

suerly though itd be easier to buy a blade and save the hassle of changing the fork yokes, bars, etc as well??
