Just received my SORN certificate in the post. For those of you that don't know I originally bought my untaxed bike in May, but since the new change in rules meaning we can get fined for no SORN I decided to post one off sharpish around December time. I decided to back-date the form to when I bought the bike in May. Just a quick post to say it works and that May 2003 is the date on the certificate \o/

No fine's for me then Very Happy unless they catch me on the road Wink

I will tax it all in good time. I am not insured on it yet, and hence I can't tax it, well I could but I can't be bothered until I am insured on it.

I've not received the V5 for my GPz550 that I have for spares. So I guess that means they can't do me for no tax?

Might as well fill in a SORN just to be safe.

One free A4 form from post office that takes 10 seconds to fill in, and could save you £80.
