A year or so ago i was set on by a group of chavs, they said i looked at the in a dodgey way so was a perfect excuse to start a fight. Now i may look skinny and defenseless but looks are decieving, I have a black belt in hapkido... anyway back to the story... one of them threw a punch which was easily evaded. The next thing I know I see another heading towards me at my right hand side. So I do what I'm trained to, side kick to the ribs, reverse catch wristlock and a hard slam to the floor. His mates start closing in, in a feeble attempt to regain control of the situation, so i go back towards the guy i just put down and place him in a suitable armlock and apply a fair amount of pressure (enough to get him to shout) and tell them to back off, they keep advancing so i apply steadily more pressure (resulting in louder shrieks of pain from my "victim") to the point where they close enough to hit me, where upon a pedestrian runs across shouting!
The kind fellow (whose name i never got) phones the police for an attempted assault, and to their credit they arrive in 5 minutes and arrest ... ME!
Apparently they were watching the confrontation on cctv, which is why they arrived so fast. There is a large bruise and a dislocated shoulder on the guy i used as leverage to keep his mates at bay and not the smallest speck of dust on me, so i get off with a caution for "unnecessary force" and it noted on my record for 6 months!

Late September last year, a friend of mine was beaten up by a drunk chav. I checked my mate was ok (after another chav pulled said drunk chav away) then we decided to leave the area, was walking back to my bike (had a hire scoot at the time) and the drunk chav came over to me and whacked me in the face for no reason!
As my friend was pressing charges of assault, the police decided to check my injuries, sent a bobby round the next day (was 11pm when it happened, we didn't call the police at the time of the incident) and took a statement from me (since become good friends with the cop), heard nothing of it other than the chav had been arrested for assaulting me and my friend, a few weeks later I got a letter saying I had been awarded £130 compensation .
So far I have seen £13.07 of it, but it's arriving in instalments.
Can't fault the police on that one, or from my crash in Preston. ____________________ Current: Suzuki RG 125 Gamma, Honda H100, Triumph Tiger 800XC, Suzuki SV650 (minitwin) |

So, whose going to start the bloody revolution? It usually begins with a gunshot, and a splattering of blood over the flagstones of an iconic landmark, and ends in a whimper. I'll have my camera ready ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

Well, im sorry, but I think the only way to solve this problem is to help yourself.
I could roll on countless stories of how useless the police are and my contempt for them but I think we already get the picture from previous posts.
One example, my mates 12 year old brother gets set upon by 4-5 twats who put a knife to his throat for his pokemon cards. Police informed. Fuck all done, despite names/addresses of the accused given.
My mate goes down to where these prats hang out to have a word. Que 12 of them jumping on him an giving him a beat down (luckily he came out not too bad, they all fell on him an he used one as a human shield and they could not see that they were actually hitting their mate for the best part ).
Police turn up, do nothing, as per.
So my mate borrows my telescopic trunction. Gets on a bus. See's the main man who'd held the knife up to his brothers throat. Beats him with the telescopic so bad it breaks over his face, and then the next day see's him again whilst he's in the car and chases him with a baseball bat. Coincidentally he never came round the area to cause trouble again...... funny that.
I was watching panorama last night which discussed this problem an they were trying to think up ways to combat the problem in a legal fashion, the best solution was for the community to come together to tackle the little pricks. But at most all they can do is rally together to tell them to stop/go away, with the safety in numbers element being the only thing giving them the confidence to stand up and not have to worry about comebacks. Somehow I dont think that will quite cut it.
What I would do, in the instance of the original poster, since he knows the people who are responsible, would be to don your favourite balaclava, wait outside their house, and administer a baseball bat massage to the legs. As violent as that sounds I cant stand violence and dont enjoy it one bit, but if little runts like this are going around thinking they run the show and if they were threatening/acting out violence on my family then its all fair game. Plenty of stories to tell where people I know have bally'd up an done the perpertrators in with a warning that if they show up again then their ability to walk will be severaly compromised. The result? They fuck off somewhere else, if they aint got a face/name, they got no one to comeback on, and with the prospect of another beat down on the cards, if healthier for them to piss off somewhere else.
I know many will strongly disagree with me on this one, but it works round my area, which does it for me.
