Just for all of You who don't know Rikers, its, the picknic area at the
bottom of Box Hill in Dorking on the A24 where all and sundry gather to partake of Rikers fantastic fast food! Very Happy

The best ground beef burgers in the country.

Over the years it has become a gathering place for Bikers, but familys in cars etc: are still in abundance !!! During the summer it's packed, and for the bikers you've got all the twisties up and around box hill !

Matt just got back from Dobles, took an evaluation test no probs went well inc. a nice U turn in a road he didn't think I would manage!

They want 2 flog me a short DAS course ! I wondered Y they were so keen 2C me, will think about it. The way I feel at the moment I will probably ring up the test centre tomorro and take the restriced test myself on MY BIKE! I can always take a full test some other time, getting really pissed off with people wanting to nick money of me to hire there bike and a nanny B4 the test. Evil or Very Mad

Sorry didn't have much time to speak must have seemed a rude, will catch up with some other time foe a longer chat.

Cheers

When doing my test my major problems were remembering to do life savers etc. at correct times/places... but then I had had 4 years of on and off riding to gather bad habits.

yeah, cheers mole. got the prob sorted, mistook the short vacuum hose - i thought it was a vent cos it was too short to go anywhere.
my bike's not much to look at but it's got more hp than i've used yet!
and as for the VFR...i want one of those! but there's no way a young 18yr old like me can afford it :(
but hey, there's always the firestorm in (quite) a few years time :)

Its just off the A24, north of Dorking.

This crappy map 'may' help
https://www.streetmap.co.uk/streetmap.dll?grid2map?X=517500&Y=151500&arrow=N&zoom=5

I dont know if i can be bothered to go. I've got a busy weekend, and it is a long trek on my own.
I will need some persuading if i do go!

But if i do, does someone want to decide upon a time.
And devise 'how' the hell we will recognise each other?!?!

Also, is anyone else going on a restricted NSR?!? Otherwise i'm going to be left behind!!

I'll be down from 1pm onwards providing the weather holds. Like Andrew said you can spot me from the yellow Rossi rep bike - and the grey helmet with two blue flames above the visor[1]. Hope to see loads of you down there!

[1] - Yes, I know BlueFlame meant for them to be stuck to the exhaust, but they look nice on 'me bash hat.
