Get some chain cleaner and a rag and with the bike on a paddock stand and the engine turned off just give it a good rub down and then get some spray on lube and spray it onto the chain on the outside (sprocket where the chain sits) then on the inside (where the chain travels between sprockets is best) and spin the wheel by hand after a nice run to heat the chain up so the lube goes where it should. ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |

Most of the time I use WD40 to clean, if my mate's garage is open I use their big tin of kerosene
Holts chain lube afterwards. ____________________ CBR125|||GSXR400|||CBR400|||CBR400|||CB250RS|||GSXR750|||CB250RS

I always use a tin of spray brake cleaner to clean my chain cos if its safe for your brake seals its got to be safe for my O-rings so says our chief technician at work and i have have never had a problem but i have had a lot of clean and shiny chains and you will find it a lot cheaper than chain cleaners aimed at bikes specifically cos as you know they like to fleece the gullible biker ____________________ Kiss my ASS im gone. current ZX12R previous ZZR1100,Gpz1100 uni,GT750,VT500,CX500
