no not that, the imfamous point. balance point
ive been trying to get to a stage where its not just riding it out, and i did it while trying to do a fav road of mine on one wheel. i was going along and suddenly it seemed effortless, like i had done it so many times before, i actually shut the throttle and stayed up.
yay for me.
will
ps: im aiming at sitting on the handlebars and trying to pop it up, has anyone had any experiance with even trying this? ____________________ www.wilcollinsphoto.co.uk |

Nice one. Still not really sorted it out properly yet, need more practice .
Is this on a VFR400?
As far as sitting forward, you need down gearing/a powerfull bike.
Personally I'd practice a lot more so that you can do bp wheelies every time. Also do be careful, and make sure you try to use the rear brake, as finding the balance point is often soon followed by doing an unintentional 12'oclock . |

yea, its the first time ive been able to do it. im well pleased
yea its on a vfr, which is why im not sure bout over the handlebars cause of the power, ive also wanted to try a left hand stoppie, crossing your hand over and doing it, but all ive seen is failed attempts
and about the 12, i know, ive seen the clip of a certain someone doing so
all i need now is a well paid job and a more powerful bike, does anyone know if the position as king is open or not, i heard it pays well ____________________ www.wilcollinsphoto.co.uk |

Hi
Do you go on grey bike? Watch out for the gearbox when doing long wheelies, they tend to sezie due to oil running to the back of the sump or something. Go on 400 grebike to read more.
Nice one, though. All my fucking wheelies were piss poor on the VFR . I did one good one but no one saw it .

yea ive been a member of grey bike for a while now and remember reading that somewhere, just forgot it, ill try and keep em down in length.
i still think it was fluke though, but it seemed easy, well after about a million attempts.
my mates 636 is alot easier to get it up and keep it, and i can get to third before it goes down, which im proud of.
shame my fairings all fucked due to falls though, oh well i got another one, just dont wanna ruin it
remember, a mans best friend is the microwave, the hammer or the gaffer tape, if either of these cant fix it, throw it away.

Nice.
As Luke says, watch your gearbox.
I don't believe that without huge amounts of downgearing a 400 will be able to do highchair wheelies. www.stuntlife.com is a good site for stunt info |
