I very much doubt it as they are normally silicone sealed units. If it was me and I definitely knew the CDI was donald ducked I would rip it apart to see if it could be fixed before I ordered another one. Very much doubt you'll have any success though.

I don't think there is anyway of fixing cdi's unless you know what we be looking for, i once pulled one open and i killed it even more trying to open up and have a look, i maybe wrong but a fair while ago when i bought mcn pretty regular i think i may of seen an address in the back pages that claimed a company could fix them, or it could of been reprogramme them, I'm unsure, may be worth having a look possibly.

All I am saying is, if you're going to order a new one you may as well rip it apart in case something blindingly obvious is wrong. I don't do electrics Laughing

It is possible to fix them, I fixed one on a DR350 last year. Usually or at least sometimes its a little resistor that has blown and needs replacing. They are usually about 2-3mm wide with solder on either end. Best bet is to get a fuse tester or something and see if voltage flows through them all, if it doesn't flow through one then it's probably blown.

Have fun!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but GSX-R400 cdi's are notoriously crap and difficult to get hold of. I've heard of people paying £120 and waiting 6 months for one, and they're very rare in breakers because of the same reason. Have a look on www.400greybike.co.uk for more information.
