Ok I just voted that they are unsafe, which I didn't really think about lol. I agree, they are safe unless you got some nobber riding it. The scooters themselves I think are pretty well made, as well as the new modern sports bikes anyway.
What pisses me off is the dickheads on 125 peds and 50 peds who try to race you and stuff, and hog the road. They pul up along side you at lights then nudge in front of you, like twats, then rev the bollocks off it and weave in and out of traffic. You will be doing a steady 50mph and they will tootle alongside you trying to attract your attention, then you like knock it into 4th gear and bugger off. TOSSERS most of em, luckily there are a select few who are sound. Same goes with bikes, if I was telling the truth within 5 mins on my bike I woulda commited enough offences to lose my licence, same goes for a lot of people, but I don't put other people at risk. ____________________ A big enough hammer fixes anything! |

Hi
I dont know about u guys but the scooter riders round here are twats, well most of em anyway. They go round in their litle groups trying to act hard in their shorts and t-shirts, they have no respect for themselves, therir scoots and other people, they chuck em around like toy's. Its soo funny when they try and race ya. They usually hang around the carpark when i work and wait 4 me to start up me NSR, then try and race me. They are in my mirrors for about um 5 seconds. What im starting to see is more 125's hanging round wif em. Why?. Sum dozy cunt near me has just got a brand new rs125, the one with the silver tank. He hangs round with scoots and its so sad to see. However hes a bit of a nob, no gloves and he wears trainers and tracksuite bottoms. I dont know why but it seem to only be the Rs's that do this, ive never seen someone on an NSR doing stuff like this, i wonder why

Hi
i think its because its cheep so rs's owners dont give a toss, seems like the immature peeps go for the Rs while the grown up sophisticated, go for the NSR, but then again i would say that. Dont hurt me!

...do 'ped riders (except for you Dodd ) have itchy underwear or something?...everytime I see them stop at a traffic light, they're always fidgeting and jumping about, trying to look aggressive!...
...just a question about peds/scoots: is it possible to rev them at a standstill? i.e. do they have some sort of neutral?...or will it just try to move off?...

I went on the scooter the other day to show it to someone who was interested in buying it. It felt so weird! the riding position is really cramped, your legs are all tucked in and the seat is really high! and having a brake where the clutch should be needed some getting used to.
The only scooter I would get from now on would be an Italjet Dragster 180, 100mph from a scoot but I would have a proper bike too! |
