Kris I notice your bike has different tyres on to mine. I currently have Pirelli MT75's, what have you got on???

I dunno how good the Pirelli's are that I have on mine they ain't too clever in the wet but seem fine in good weather. What do you reckon your tyres are like in comparison???

Cheers m8

Glad that you're happy with the stand mate Cool ...

...there is supposed to be a "Scorpion" sticker for the stand, but I managed to misplace it...sorry...everyone would've known it was a Scorpion then!

I hope that you get the bike sorted out soon..

Tin

Hi Scoob,

Yea, I changed the tyres earlier this year as my old ones (MT75's) were;
a) squared off
b) bald as fuck
c) scaring me stupid in the wet.

Its a well known fact that MT75's are shite in the wet. End of discussion. I never had a problem with them in the dry though (except when really cold...and i crashed Rolling Eyes).
I've found the BT45's really good all-rounder tyres, perfect for me on a limited budget and especially good cos I use my bike all year round. Plus, I've found theres a little more grip when cranked 'roight ova' as superbike mag puts it. Wink They do a BT39S and BT39SS which are even grippier but I chose the 45's cos they have to last well.
Hope this helps
Kris
