...... Bastard police again, apparently there'll be a statement from the organisers tomorrow. They're using the 'public safety' lie again, despite the fact that neither club goes anywhere near this one. Evil or Very Mad

No story yet, but I've spoken to a couple of people involved in the organising, and Steve, the organiser, is going to make a statement tomorrow. An announcement is on the Showgrounds site though.

I wasn't planing on going to that one, but it still sucks in a major way that the police can scare people in to canceling well established events where there has never been trouble.

what the f.......

any flipping excuse.....when i have gone there has never been any saftey issues... on site or in the town.....

its prob.. that the police have got to work over time because of the event, and because its a bank holiday weekend..... they cant been arsed to work...lol...

WMS Statement 14/5/08

For reasons known only to the police and the committee of the RWAS, the committee have after consultation with Dyfed-Powys Police decided to cancel The Welsh International Motorcycle Show.

Welsh Motorcycle Shows Ltd was not involved in those consultations.

W.M.S Ltd apologises for any inconvenience caused to our customers and traders by the cancellation of the event.

W.M.S ask that we be allowed time to consider the legal and financial implications of the cancellation before we make decisions regarding the companies future actions.

Fucking nazi facist arseholes! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad According to the MCN website, no one wearing a patch or colours is allowed on the site. I've been riding bikes and doing biking activities for nearly ten years and I've rarely even seen a patch member let alone felt intimidated by one.

So, if someone gets murdered then it must automatically mean that people with that interest might want revenge! There was that kid murdered in London last week who was an altarboy at a catholic church. Does that mean the police are going to ban Christian gatherings in case some Catholic tries to get revenge on the Protestants? Its ridiculous, ludicrous and stupid.

I feel very offended that I am being marginalised because of an interest that I hold. This country is sick and needs some bloody drastic medicine to sort it out. Like a political uprising, sacking of parliament and all chief cunt-stables and senior police officers. Then we need to de program all police officers so they don't have a superiority complex, a huge and delicate ego and aren't patronising any more.

Sounds difficult, but I'm sure people are willing to take the first step.
