Hi,

I'm currently the owner of a M Reg CBR600, had it for the past 7 years. I've decided to sell it and upgrade to another model.

I've ridden a few larger bikes but too long ago to remember what they were like.. I'm looking for a 750 or above preferably a sports bike.

If anyone could offer recommendations or advice I would really appreciate it.

Looking to spend upto 3.5K at the moment.

Thanks,
OP Smile

Once you get to the larger capacity bikes there is a lot of choice.
First steps would be to decide what the bike will be used for, v-twin, straight 4...etc

Riding position is quite important as I'm 6'4" so I need to get my knees tooked in Smile

Go to shop. Test ride. Decide what you want, then find a good one privatly within your budget.

We can all say which bike we'd get in your situation etc, but not which bike you want. Smile

For that cash you can get an R1, that'd be my first choice. Insurance isn't gonna be much more on that than on a 750.

What do you use your bike for?

When riding fast do you like to really push the bike, or for the bike to be way faster than you?

What sort of budget are you looking at?

If you don't want to go all the way and get a blackbird or a hayabusa may i suggest a cbr1000f!
i bought mine in nov last year and i'm very happy with it i even used to ride a cbr600 before i got it!
its got huge levels of torque and power and i save about £300 on insurance.

You could get a nice GSX-R750 for 3.5k, although I doubt it'll have much more torque than your 600.
