Bloody dealerships..... Crying or Very sad

After discussing a deal (which I posted about not too long ago) with my local dealer regards trade-in the NSR for a Bandit 600S, I find out that the monthly payments are a lot higher than he calculated for me. He gave me a rough figure, but when the official finance details came through it was above what I could afford, being a student and only working 16Hrs per week.

However, a guy at college with me is selling his ZXR-750R. Its a 1992 model, in Green/White/Blue (I think!), not sure of millage, he says only a few scratches. He wants 1200 and says im welcome to a test ride.....on the 'you bend it you mend it basis'

What you guys think?

ZXR750's are sweet bikes, and for £1200 very cheap. If it's running sweet and has no major problems I'd go for it Smile Thumbs Up

Hi

They had a very good reputation, except for hard rear suspension. At that age is it going to be one of the 100hp ones?

At £1200 I would be very tempted depending on condition.

All the best

Keith

Take a ride on the ZXR and see what you think. If it's even fairly tidy then £1200 is not a bad price for it. Very Happy
