I was just wondering if i get a fully comp bike insurance policy will this allow me to ride other bikes 3rd party on my policy? Im aged 19 and i know with car insurance this is not applicable if your under 25, but I have heard with bikes you can ride any.

Cheers

Call around.
Some places will only offer it with fully comp, others with third party.
Some will want a bike of a certain size.

Suspect you're not that likely to find it at 19, but some places may do it.

In my experience it's not easy to come by at 17-20. When I last renewed mine I rang round loads of places but couldn't find anywhere that was competitive and would offer me it so I gave up.

Luckily for me my insurance company fucked up and had to change my policy at their cost. The new one has cover for any bike. Thumbs Up

When I insured my Gixxer with Carole Nash at 19 my TPFT policy came with other bikes included. Might be worth giving them a call... Very Happy

Bennetts have only just introduced it. My dad didn't realise and thought that he had it when he hadn't, not that he has been riding my bike round much Embarassed

When I insured my XJ600 last year TPF+T I got it without even asking on the cheapest quote I got. I was 20 when I took the policy out aswell although I did have 3 years no claims.
