noisy kawasaki engines

i all.
have a zx-6r 636 on a 06 plate,it seems a little bit tappy/clicking sort of noise,have ben told its a kawasaki thing and most kwaks make a fair ammount of noise,bike is serviced regulary and not ridden hard,your thoughts on this pls would be gratfull.

All my Zeds have rattly clutches. Nowt much to worrry about cos If you fix it, it rattles again after about 1,500 miles......

kawasaki thing my eye...
i would check your clearances and make sure that they are all with in spec.

my zxr never had a noisy engine.

Any Kawasaki engine with the Kleen system on click and tap. Hate the sound of them, it made me paranoid about my engine blowing up.

Ive got the same bike with the same sounds, as said its apparently a Kawasaki thing. Just get on and ride and you wont hear it.

Had a zxr400 with a noisey engine. I fitted a new clutch, did the valve clearances, camchain and tensioner.

It was still noisey.

My zzr 400 was noisey, my zx9r is noisey.

Think its a kwak thing.

ZX6R F3, valve clearances in spec, carbs balanced, CCT changed rattles like buggery. Ride it hard and you won't have to hear the noise, just the airbox and exhaust singing in unison Wink

Stick a K&N and a stubby can on it. That cured my engine rattle.
