Made a nice discovery today. Very Happy
As it was cold I didn't really feel like riding my bike today so I was going to clean my bike. Never actually got round to cleaning the bike as I discovered that these ugly pegs:

could have these bits removed:

and be made to look like this:

IMO these look so much better and now means I don't have to go out and buy tarty footpegs, and the ugly hero blobs won't catch the ground anymore.
Why didn't anyone tell me I could do this sooner:?:

Those blobs don't look like they have been hitting the ground at all. Very Happy

Only a couple of times last summer. I see it as a good thing that they had not been scraped before that. Very Happy

They might look better but I found my foot wasn't as comfortable on the bare metal and slipped a bit. Especially when it was raining.
Just food for thought in this bad weather.

Hi

I have an FZ750 that could do with some new pegs. If you want a suitable home for the old rubber ones let me know.

All the best

Keith

Bike manufacturers usually go with rubber covered pegs if the test riders reported a problem with vibration through the pegs.

If you can cope with it though... Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
