Kawasaki ar50 hlp plz

my very 1st bike and its a Kawasaki ar50
it needs ALOT of work to pass its mot.....espechally the handelbars(ill try take a piccy of them) some 1 has welded them on VERY poorly

umm needs indercators
new taillight
almost new wireing
headgasket
Kickstart(has to b bumpstarted)

thats it i think

Hi

Think the handlebars should bolt on. I hate to think what has been done if they are welded in place.

Indicators should be easy (about £7 each for OE style ones from M&P), and the same for the tail light (about £10 from the same place).

Wiring loom can be bought 2nd hand, but you never really know what you are getting. Might be worth trying to sort out what you already have.

Head gasket will not be much, just make sure you clean the head and barrel up thoroughly and reassemble using a torque wrench.

A kickstart should be fairly easy to get hold of.

Might be worth trying various Kawasaki breakers for spare parts. Buy a copy of Bike Trader and look through the breakers yards advertising in the back.

ok thx.......but the hardest thing i have trouble finding is that kickstart ......coz its not gonna pass its m.o.t with out it........and yeah ill try looking in the Biketrader mag hopfull ill fing somthing
