Hi Guy's

After my Mito was stolen, recovered, and then garaged for 6 months, the indicators are not working at all (besides the fact that the front ones are not on the bike). i've been told by a Yamaha garage that it sounds like the Servo's are stuffed, and need replacing.

The problem i have, is, give me a bike to do *General* maintenance on, and i'm fine, but give me the electrics, and i look at it and go "err... right..." I've been to every garage on the Isle Of Wight and no one will touch it, (for what ever reason they foresee)

Is there anyone close to the Isle of Wight, that would be able to give me a hand and correct the electrics of the thing?

(yes i'm willing to pay, if it can be done)

Thanks

Jay

Do you mean indicator Relays?

I'm not sure that indicators have servos! Wink

Its just a case of wiring up your indicators as you would in any Mito, then add the Relays to the right place in the circuit.

Any garage should ba able to do it, I think that they are just copping out. Unfortunately though I live nowhere near IOW.

Maybe there is another member that is closer.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Yep Relays is what i mean. Embarassed

I think the garages are just "copping out" too, but they still wont do it, and i don't know too much about the electric side of the bike, therefor if i was to do it, i'd end up with a mass of wires all over the place, and a non-working bike Sad

I don't know if I'm right in saying this, but if I remember right then on my NSR the indicators didn't work if you removed one set. (front or back) I may be totally wrong here. But it could be part of the problem. Confused

On my RS, if you unlpug 1 indicator the one on the same side at the rear wont work. So you probably just need new front indicators unless a mito a wired up different.

No no,

I have the indicators, they're just not on the bike.

The way the Mito works, is if you unplug say the front left, when you signal left, the rear left signal light stays on.

It doesn't even do this.

all the lights are tested and fine.

i'd put the front ones back on ..switch power on and indicator switch and give the relay a tap with somthing it has been standing a while it may just be sticky (relays somtimes stick off or on)
if that fails get a lengh of wire and bulb and check the power is getting to the switch and the relay Praying

Would that work?
