After taking me rear wheel off to get a new tyre put on, i accidentally pulled the brake lever, pushing the pistons out Confused.

Anyone got any ideas about how to get it back in?

I've tried pushing but it doesn't work Sad

Any Help would be appreciated

Thanks

You mean right out as in fallen out? or just too far to get the pads in again? Razz

Use a thin bit of metal and a clamp if you can get it right onto the pistons, otherwise I would do the same but just push either side evenly with your hands. Just do it slowly and it should be ok.

Good and luck come into mind...
I use some of those long-handled adjustable pliers for a good amount of force. When my brakes seized it took me and my Dad using a couple of these things to get them pushed back in.

definitely a mistake I'm sure you won't be repeating anytime soon!

try taking the brake fluid resoviour cap off first then use a screwdriver to push the pistons back. this should work watch that no fluid pours over the top of the resoviour and that no water or damp get in
