My KLR 650 1987 has suddenly started to shake and vibrate. It does this even when at a stanstill and idleing. I know something must be off with the engin. Any Ideas out there as to what the problem may be? Thanks. Jeff Sad

First thing to do is go over all the nuts and bolts, particularly the big ones, and check they are done up tight.

Then give the HT lead a spray of WD40 or similar.

It could be poor quality fuel.

It could be timing, although AFAIK the KLR uses CDI ignition so that wouldn't be a problem.
