i have just de-ristrited my nsr125r and i when i sett off the revs die down was wondering if i have to change the carb setting and if i do what are they,i would really appreciate it.

Hi

Is it dieing as you open the throttle? If so have a play with the needle. Drop the clip one notch down the needle which will richen up the mixture in the mid range of throttle position.

Also do a plug chop (up hill, full throttle and revs for a while, pull clutch and hit kill switch, coast to a halt then check the plug colour), as you might well need to use a larger main jet as well (main jet controls the mixture at around 3/4 to full throttle).
