What a shit HOT day!!

Unlike Keens shit day , I have had a cool day.
Took my VFR400 NC30 which was a bit poorly to a mechanic on Wednesday the 19th of June. I explained to the mechanic that it seemed to have low power at high speeds and sometimes had problems starting especially once the bike had warmed up.
Anyway the mechanic (Mick Johnsons motorcycles in South Elmsall) said that it would take him a couple of days to carry out the service, then he would have a look at possible causes for the bikes problem.
The weekend passed and the bike wasn;t ready, but he said that the bike did have a problem and he could sort it.
Anyway today I have picked my bike up and to my surprise it had a shiny new carbon can on it. My girlfriend (Michelle) had sneakily bought me a new can from a local Carnells sale and taken it to the garage while I was at work. And the problems I had were sorted too, one of the cyclinders valve clearances was incorrect causing poor compression and a new battery sorted out the starting problems, Mick Johnson also found that my rear brake wasnt working as good as it was so he stripped and cleaned the caliper for me.
Anyway just thought I would share that with you to let you know my bike is now better than ever Very Happy

well today i went to pick up my bike from the dealers and its not ready yet, but he told hes been cleaning black shite out of the clutch and carb all afternoon, which certainly explains why it was down on power.

I'm having to use niges computer hence the name cos stew has had to come round to show his new can off. Laughing

The can I bought for stew (this obviously being michelle) is a Riossi oval carbon can.

i'm not exactly sure how fast the VFR is because it goes off the end of the kmh scale.
