6V electrics ?!

What is the deal with 6V electrics? Went to 3 different bike stores looking for rear indicators and not 1 stocked them, just the 12V ones. Didn't even have the 6V bulbs!

Seriously, are 6V bikes that rare, seems to be a lot of trouble to get parts for mine.

Years ago everything was 6v but its all gone over to 12v now.

Hi

As Kev says not much is 6V these days. What might be worth a try is a small back street shop selling stuff like old MZ or CZ bikes. Failing that try a place dealing with classic cars (although classic car owners I have known have bought 6V bulbs in bike shops as they are cheaper).

I think you can get a 12v upgrade for the Rxs.
