My beautiful J Reg Honda NSR125RL is finally back on the road.

Thanks to Dave Laughing I changed the spark plug, both oils and put high performance coolant in her.

She runs like a dream now.
Only thing left to do now is drop the power band on her down a little. Its kicking in around 8000 rpm and so I want to drop it to around 6500rpm.

Sarge.

'Cos 4 strokes takes too long.

You want a red powerband for that mate, not the standard blue ones... try M&P.
Wink

Seriously though... the way the engine and most of the rest of the bits on the bike is designed, the power comes in at that rpm, it is to some degree changed by the powervalve; but that's going to have been set to the optimum position, set the powervalve to open earlier and you may well loose power.
Most tuning work done on 2 strokes will often actually make the powerband as such tighter, but result in a fair bit more power.
