After 6 months of not having a bike I've (with waves help Wink ) bought a tidy SV650S (2001) for £1350.

Its done 15k miles and dont have a scratch on it. Theres a few little rust spots but nothing sseriousfor a 7 year old bike. It runs sweet.

I should get most my weekends off now when I move to Portsmouth so hopefully will be able to get out on it a bit Very Happy

Yea its going well mate. Got a month off now then I go to portsmouth for 7 months to do all the police training. Basic training was well very basic!! Will be good do learn more intensive stuff!

Good question, i'm interested too as I am after a bike.

Well a friend of mine also got a 2001 one for 1600 so I think I got a good deal. It was on ebay and had 1 bid. Wave just messaged the guy and made an offer of 1350 and he accepted.

Yea the RMP training is full of bull shit to start with, crazy locker inspections and our kit has to be immaculate. Some of the stuff we do in training is cool. We'll learn to use pistols and if I get posted to Germany we get to patrol armed with them Very Happy

Ill be just to the north near that navy radar thingy on the hill. I got a couple of mates who live there too so hopefully can arrange a few ride outs or nights out on the town!

Portsdown Hill? That's a usual meeting / posing place for alot of people. BAB's sitting next to their bikes drinking coffee and looking gay. And boy racers.

Spot on. Theres some 'good' lanes around the hill though. Never know,if i get an rs in the next few months may be able to arrange a ride. Im located in waterlooville,very near to the hill,behind it. Thumbs Up
