Middle Finger Twisted Evil Middle Finger It's all too confusing!!!
O.K. so my friends have been dragging me to rallys for a couple of years now and they're fantastic! But recently the bike I would usually pillion on has been stolen (B*ST*RDS!!!) so I'm gonna raid the bank account and get me a bike. Looking at all of these posts and what i've gathered through friends NSR 125 is the way to go until I get a full licence but the problem is there's still so much i don't understand!

what's the difference in an NSR/F or NSR125RR? what's with the R's?

what should be the price range for a year old NSR?

What's the deal with imports?

I saw a Honda NS125F in damn fine nick for £895 so I figured it's worth a try. when i phoned he said "they're all gone "(there were 4 of them) "but i have another here 6 months old, i was gonna put in at £1200." This guys an importer so it's an italian/ spanish bike. when I asked him about t&t he said not yet but it will have when it's bought. This is supposedly because of the import?? I know theres a lot to think about with imports ristricters, mph/kph, head light dips the wrong way and so on. I also thought imports are cheaper. what's the deal? I don't get any of this!

https://www.akmotorcycles.com/ <----- this is the guy

I Don't want to get stung any tips or info would be GREATLY apreciated. I'm gonna roll a fat one and wait for help.

Thanks people! Rolling Eyes

Well i have an import UK specification bike no problems what so ever, yes there may be more restrictions but that can be easily overcome.
NSR/f is the pre 94 model (old shape) I think.
The R is the new model and I think the RR's are imports not sure but I don’t think there is no real difference.
Headlight dipping and all that can be fixed easily the kph clock you can get a mph sticker for, so that’s easy to, don’t know what else mate.

I’m selling mines if your interested but not sure if its quite in your price range.

Thumbs Up Wink I've just put a deposit on a nsr raider, t&t 1 month warranty and an extra exhaust system (a legal one).
it's '94/'95 and it's gonna cost me a grand. What does one think?
