I have an NSR and on my bike the the gearbox has a little cap on the left hand side to put the oil in. A few inches below it is a little clear window with a min and max mark. Stand the bike up straight and see if you can see the oil level in this window. That is a guide.

Like I said I have an NSR which is a little similar I believe. I hope that helps, if not am sure one of the more knowledgeable guys will put it right.

Sarge.

Hi

For the gearbox oil Honda just recommend "Honda 4-stroke oil or equivalent. Viscosity: SAE 10W-40. API service classification : SE or SF". That is pretty much just a fairly basic multigrade.

All the best

Keith

The NS doesn't have a sight window. There is a bolt on the side and basically when oil starts to come out of there its at the right level.

I seen you asking for a manual in another thread (I am Gav), I did have one but it was a paper copy not an electronic one sorry.
