Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Fantastic getting onto the A roads and exploting the awesome power @ 55 mph, still fun though. Had a bit of trouble forgetting the left hand lever was the clutch (not the back brake! doh)

Now just a course of 7, 6 hour lessons then my test.

oh, and I nearly forgot Very Happy

Well done! I enjoyed my CBT a lot. I'm commuting to work for a couple of months then a few lessons to rid me of bad habits then test I think!

eh....

Riding for a few months between CBT and test is more likely to GIVE you a few bad habits, rather than cure any Rolling Eyes You will get more confident at handling a bike, but you'll see what I mean when you start your lessons.....

Oh, well done for getting through CBT Thumbs Up Very Happy (would have said well done for passing, but come on, ain't exactly a test is it? Just something annoying you have to do Rolling Eyes )

Good luck Thumbs Up

Mark

Things I kept forgetting as well:

..Cancelling indicators; Rolling Eyes
..Life savers on correct side - kept doing rh ones on roundabouts when going strait on; Thumbs Down
and putting left foot down too early just before i stopped and dragging it a little.

Got thery test tomorrow Shocked , strait after lesson at 08:00am ARRRRGHH
not worried about the test - fine on theory but don't want to muff up the hazard perception. visited the website mentioned in another thread and tried the demo - got 4/5 (helps if you've driven a car for 8 years).

Thumbs Up theory test passed 31/35 multiple choice,
63/75 hazard perception. Don't know what I was worried about
All I will say is the few I got wrong were stopping distances (completely forgot what they were), a question about what you should do before fitting a sidecar and what should do on unmarked crossroads.

Now riding Honda CB500, pretty quick compared to what I've been riding before but very unforgiving with the gears.. change up too soon and you chug like a Massey Ferguson. Neutral
