ok so i found a derbi gpr 50 on ebay local to me.
went to have a look at it just now and something isnt right.
firstly the clutch was still grabbing slightly, no matter how much i adjusted it.
also there was a bad fuel leak when the bike was started, but no leak when it wasnt running.

he told me it had been stood for about 6-8 weeks.
could this cause these problems?
a wild stab in the dark but i thought that maybe because it had been leaned over on the side stand to the left, and the clutch is on the right, would it be possible for the clutch to become dry?

Also the fuel leak, could this be build up of crap settling in the carb causing fuel to be forced out of the overflow?

any help would be much appretiated

Joe

The fuel when it is running could be because it has a vacuum tap which is only open when the bike is running. Fuel goes into the carb and keeps going into the float bowl thus out of the overflow. Could be down to worn valve and seat or dirt in the carb.

Dragging clutch could be a complete lack of oil in the first place.
