2000 Model NSR

Ok got the guy's carbs all back and sorted and went to fire it up and it wont start.. took the spark plug out and its not sparking.. i changed it with a new plug and its still not sparking. any ideas on where next to try are there any known electrical problems on these bikes.... Cheers

Ignition coil would be first place to look at, followed by the alternator and CDI unit. I take it you've already checked the battery is ok?

has it got an alarm or immobiliser fitted?
