New Parts for Honda CBR600 RR5

Hi all,

Just wandered if anyone knew any places where I could get the below parts cheap / for a decent price. Possibly looking to buy them over the next few months, also attending the NEC bike show on the last day (possibility of some bargains>).

Full Exhaust System - Looking for something that both looks and sounds decent to replace my stock exhaust system. Have seen prices of around £800 for Arrow systems, also how many hours labour is it likely to take to fit? (Would anyone just recommend an end can?

Power Commander - Seen prices around £250-£300

Brake Discs all round - 2 front and 1 for the rear - looking for cheapish discs but of good quality - ideally wavey looking (when at bike show last year they had some cheap, around £150 for 2 front discs)

HRC Quick Action Throttle Kit

Rear Hugger - Ideally black and extended to help keep dirt off the rear shock

Had the same bike.

Power commander, Arrow etc. sounds and performs like a bike should!

Stick with Arrow and you won't be disappointed!

Make sure you ge the exhaust, power commander + mapping all at once. You'll also need a new air filter to get the best from it (although shouldn't be much more).

Would you suggest a K & N air filter? Also do you think it might be worth looking at replacing the plugs?

if the plugs are the same as in my rr3 there gonna set you back around £60-£70 but on a plus side the manual states they are good for 32,000 miles.

I got a Yoshi RS-5 on Mine, i think it sounds ace, I only went for the end can as I personally dont think I'd get the extra power it offers out of the bike in normal road riding, so I settled for a nice sound.

Powerbronze hugger works well, keeps my shock very clean.

Power commander price sounds about right, I got mine already part of the bike so cant comment on price.

I have heard that the K&N Offers no real benefit over the stock filter other than having a longer life.

So after seeing a nice set of Wolf Leathers from my local bike garage i've decided just to get a Scorpion end can, as opposed to a full system.

My local garage also advised me the distributor for scorpion has gone bust or something meaning they can't order me one in until they have a new one?

Does anyone know where i could get a can from? I've attached a picture of the can i'm after, saw it fitted o the 1000rr at last years NEC.
