Experiences with..

I had a quick search and couldn't find ezactly what I'm looking for, so thought I'd ask

Has anyone had any experiences with 50cc Kymco's?

I don't want to have any debate about importing, and cheap bikes etc. I've read alot of it and I know what it is..

Anyways, I'm mainly interested in the Super 8 and the Super 9. I think I much prefer the looks of the Super 8 and the slightly bigger wheels even though it's a 4 stroke.

I'm going for a test ride next Saturday and I will more than likely decide then

Kymco are a quality build, not cheap chinese, so if you like it buy it, they build over 500,000 a a year for the tiawanese market so cant be that bad.

Kymco are also licenses by honda to make parts for certain honda machines, and have been doing for a few decades i believe. They are certainly a good company and make good machines.

Although a lot of people don't know this and label them the same as they do cheap chinese things. so the re-sale value of a Kymco machine will be very low compared to one of the big 4.

The 2 stroke one is only 0.5kw more powerful. However they are both restricted to 30mph. The 2t will require 2t oil and the extra maintenance that goes along with 2t. No brainer.
