front fork protectors

I need to get my bike through its next MOT! Iv just replaced both seals and dust protectors and now the side which wasnt leaking is leaking oil so im going to have to put them things which are on motorcross bikes.

anyone know what they are called?

You need the correct size for the diameter of your forks.
There will be two smaller sizes and one longer.
The smaller of the two smaller sizes should match the diameter of your forks (doubt it will work if the fork gaiters are smaller).

On that, if anyone has any idea where I could get some to suit 46mm od forks, I'd be interested to hear!

i just got a nice set of the black ones for my 50, most decent bike shops will measure the correct diameters that are needed if you take your bike to them so they can order the right ones thats what they did for mine

You can get some fairly nice neoprene ones on ebay

Neoprene ones can trap water on USD forks, so not sure I'd be wanting to use them on conventional ones at all.

Are you sure there is no way they can check there are no leaks without removing the gaiters on the MOT?
